1-year research fellowship

A call for applications for a 1-year research fellowship in the framework of project DOSE (“Dielectric Optical acceleratorS for hEalth”) will be launched in the next weeks.
DOSE has been funded by the Italian Ministry for Research (MUR) in the framework of the PRIN 2022 programme for research projects characterized by relevant national interest. The main goals of the project are design, fabrication and characterization of a waveguide-based innovative platform for the realization of high-gradient hollow-core dielectric accelerating structures. In particular, the research fellow will take care of design and numerical modeling of hollow core fibers. 17-months research fellowship

A call for applications for a 1-year research fellowship in the framework of project HOCQUS (“Hollow-core fibers for Optical Communication QUantum Sources”) will be launched in the next weeks.
HOCQUS has been funded by the Italian Ministry for Research (MUR) in the framework of the PRIN 2022 programme for research projects characterized by relevant national interest. The goal of the project is the development of a platform for generation of photon pairs in gases using hollow-core inhibited-coupling microstructured optical fibers, by applying innovative hollow-core fiber modelling and experimental techniques.
In particular, the research fellow will take care of the developement of simulation models and techniques that allow to model the non-linear phenomena that underpin the generation of photon pairs, in order to analyze and design the prototype.
